Hi all

We have just finished the Sci-Fi II campaign. Interest seem to have grow and the number of finished models also increased.

Is there any interest in a Sci-Fi III? We need 10 people to be approved.

Start 1sy July 2017 - end 31st December 2017.

Campaign Sci-Fi and alternative history

This campaign is to have some fun on making alternative builds and letting creativity and fantasy run wild. How will the future look and how would the world look today if X, Y, Z had happened in the past.

To qualify for a ribbon your build should fit into one or more of the groups below:

Alternative history ie. World War II still going on in 1947ish, Third World War, zombie war etc.

OR

Sci-Fi ie. Star Wars, Star Trek, Battle Star Galactica, WH40k, Warmachine etc.

OR

Futuristic ie. Fighter jet, space craft, tanks, soldiers, ships etc. in year 2025.

The Rules and Regs
* Enter as many as you like but each modeler will only get one ribbon.
* May be 25% started, if in doubt just ask. Exception to this rule are unfinished builds from the Sci-Fi I or Sci-Fi II campaigns which may be finished for this campaign even if more than 25% finished.
* Any scale, any material
* One dated start picture, two progress pictures, and three finished pictures in the campaign gallery.
* Most important of all have fun and tell the story/idea behind your build. Let creativity run wild and make something out of the ordinary.

Great Idea, but I thought that I'd just finished Sci Fi III.

Not sure I'm ready for another go around, only one kit in the stash (no clue where at) and I think I have another campaign in that same time frame....

You just completed Sci-Fi II, this is to test if there is interest for Sci-Fi III

I will not include you in the count, but you are of course always welcome to join later if the campaign goes ahead and you have the time to spend on it.

I'm in.

Choices are the Bandai Brutish Dog. Astronaut explorers (Meng Bomb Squad Figures). Or something else. Possible vampire alien women in either.

Here's another idea though...setting is WW2 and troops enter a dark forest....wrong turn or something. The forest closes in and they find that they aren't alone. Booga, booga, booga.

I might be in, but won't know for sure if I have time for building until I know my schedule for the second half of the year.

Howdy Y'all
I enjoyed Sci-Fi II and it was my first Star Wars model. Count me in! I don't know what I'll build but I'm sure I'll find something, Maybe 1946 WWII WIF. Of course this might give me an excuse to buy another Star Wars model.
Take care,
Don "Lakota"

Typically it takes a week or two, but I see no reason it should not be approved.

I have not formally submitted the proposal yet, but will shortly.

Start by posting your idea for a campaign & rules for it in the appropriate forum (I.E., A Sherman Tank Campaign would be in Armorama). Once 10 peeps post interest, then you formally apply on the "Campaign" tab.

well it's more aimed at everyone rather than a specific subject, so i would need to post it in a general area i guess.

You could also post in the armorama campaign tread and post in the other forums linking back to the tread on armorama. The key thing is to only have one tread where people commit to participate.

I'll play. Probably a Star Wars kit, but a Heer 46' build is not out of the question.

I have submitted a request months ago, but no answer yet. I wonder If the administrators even check this part of the kitmaker network.

I will see if I can find out which administrator is responsible.
