ok, so i can't find the hot outta the molds campaign thread so i thought until i do i would post some pictures of my progress here.

This is the Bandai 1/44 scale U-Wing which also comes with the TIE Striker and some mini hover tanks from the film Rogue One (Rouge One if you like Typo's lol)

the first shot was taken at home and not in great conditions using my mobile phone which shows myself opening the box and kit parts still in their wrappers.

Well you must love typos because the kit is 1/144, not 1/44 scale

so most of the construction has now been completed and the kit goes together very well and you even get two seated figures with the kit as well!

ok, so now that i have fixed my airbrush for the time being at least, here is a shot of the kit half way through he painting process.
I tried using the kits decals but to be honest they were rubbish and i wasn't prepared to use the stickers that also come with the kit as the printing doesn't appear to be 100% accurate either, so that left only one option which is to paint it:

Good news, i have managed to revive my old airbrush at least for the time being and have completed most of the painting of this U-Wing, all that remains is to decide which type of cockpit i plan to use and to re-install the engines.

sorry for the poor picture quality of the kit

Looks pretty good.

I have the Revell kit, looks to need some work and scribing.

Very nice shading and use of different tonal colors.

ok, i'm calling this one done, a few pictures with and without canopy and yes there is no glass, it's meant to be like that.

in the second picture youcan make out the crew in 1/144 scale and the last picture has the canopy added
