Brian, I'd suggest Archer and Microscale decals-- they both have several generic US Army star sets. Try Sprue Brothers, Squadron, or you can contact both Archer and Microscale.

Hi Russ. I’m looking for generic US WWII vehicle stuff - stars, ID numbers, etc. Anything to use on tanks and soft skins. I took a couple years off from modeling due to my health and now that I’m back I found that my decals didn’t survive the ravages of storage. My water slide decals are now “waterstuck” decals.

Sprue Brothers and Squadron both carry all sorts of decals. You used to be able to order direct from Microscale. Archer has a line of decals. Walthers is good for generic letters and numbers. What did you have in mind?

Can anyone recommend a good source - preferably within the US - for decals in 1:72, 1:48, and 1:35 WWII US vehicles?

Thank you.
