Touchdown confirmed — the Space Shuttle has officially landed, completing the 2025 Space range!
The A50200 Space Shuttle Gift Set in 1:144 scale is all systems go and ready for its maiden launch to our Space Range. From the engineers of NASA to the detailed scale model that we’ve produced, this kit is now available as a Gift Set which features all the necessary glue, acrylic paints and brushes to complete the kit. The Orbiter, External Tank and Solid-fuel Rocket Boosters can be completed in one of seven marking options and displayed on the included display stand. Once built, it can be proudly displayed on its custom stand, complete with a name plaque from the decal sheet. With a skill rating of Level 3, the kit includes 94 parts and measures 393mm in length and 165mm in width—making it a true centrepiece for any collection.

Following the success of NASA’s Apollo program, their next phase in space exploration was to develop a partially reusable, low-earth orbital space transportation system to allow more astronauts to travel into space by further extending the boundaries of engineering excellence.
Over three decades, 135 missions took place, carrying hundreds of crew members from countries around the world. The Shuttles launched many diverse payloads, from the scientific and communications satellites; astronomical observatories, planetary probes, laboratories, many of the International Space Station components, and the largest single payload, the Hubble Space Telescope.
Over 30 years, five of these Space Shuttles successfully achieved earth orbit, with ‘Discovery’ becoming their most active craft, completing 39 flight missions and spending 365 days in space.
